STRIKING

If you do follow me closely on my FB and Instagram, you will know that I have cut my hair shorter and also dyed a new colour. If you do not know it, go check my FB now!! Hahhaa... So obviously this is a picture I took before I had my new haircut, and looking back at this pictures makes me really happy that I made the decision to change my hair colour. It is really annoying when your fringe is starting to get into your eyes, and those hair spiking out just like a porcupine on the edge. LOL... Not to mention, the ugly black roots >.<

So for this outfit, it was another normal school day where I have to wear formal to class. I can just say that I always do not wear full formal, but formal with a little twist. I am not really a formal person, so it's really hard for me to wear full formal to school, especially on such a hot day.

I found this very striking and vivid top to be the perfect combination with my white pants. It's usually very easy to pair something with white, because it will seldom go wrong. I love how yellow and blue compliment each other so well, and of course half length sleeve is something that I opted for on such hot weather. Maybe this is not really formal, but I consider it as formal with some twist. :)

FLY LIKE A BIRD

So since classes has start, I know that I will not have much time to blog as often as in during my holidays. It's a Friday night now, TGIF because finally I could take some breath and sit down to blog. People usually use their Friday night to party, but I think I will just choose to sit in my comfy chair and start blogging here. LOL...

Recently many of my friends is pursuing their studies overseas, so we had a farewell dinner with one of my best friend Yieng last week before she went off to UK at Milk and Butter, Bangsar. So sorry for the late post, but I bet she has already started her shopping spree there. Hahhaa...

It was really a great night of bonding with all my classmates and of course good company comes with great food. So here are some of the dishes that we ordered that night, make sure to prepare a tissue to wipe your saliva. Hahhahaa.. XD

The food was really yummy and it was also a good place for a night of gathering and chatting with my friends. I hope that she is enjoying her life in UK and also study hard!! One year will past very quickly, and we will meet soon. :)

With Yieng, see you next year :)

Of course I have not forgotten about my outfit, so this was what I wore that day.

Actually the theme of the night was neon green or yellow, and I think I'm the only one that has fit the criteria. LOL... I really like the fabric of this shirt as it is very soft and thin, making the whole outfit looks so comfortable, and also wearing it feels comfortable.

Since neon green is such a bright colour, I opted for a denim pants to match with it. The prints on the shirt is also something very special. Birds that is flying out from cages, just like how we are now. Growing older and learning to be independent, flying out from the comfort zone of family pamper and facing the real world.

NOT SO BORING ANYMORE

Who says that black and white is always boring? It's just like a plain white paper, when there is nothing on it, it looks simple and normal. But when something is drawn on it, there will be a different attraction and somehow become interesting.

So same goes with this outfit. Black and white has always been my favourite colour in my closet, and I really like how they compliment and match each other so well, just like the perfect couple. Lol.... So for this outfit, I like the combination of black and white on both my top and bottom, and of course the details on it.

Details and patterns is always so important for an outfit, because it brings out the whole attraction for the look. I really love the details on my top, which makes the whole look so fun. The pants is something that I have been dying for so long, I love how monotone straight lines have such great effect in enhancing your whole body structure and also making something simple interesting.

WILD AND YOUNG

Being a fashion blogger, all that I can say it's not really an easy job. People outside may think that all we do is take pictures, and post it. But what they do not know is the time we use to match the perfect combination of outfit, the time we use to find a great setting with great lighting for the shoot, the time we choose and edit the pictures, and of course the content that we write. So for what I think, It's really sometimes quite hard to talk or describe about each and every outfit.

So when I have no inspiration in writing, I will always look back at my outfit, and I love how fashion could bring out so many great inspiration to me. This is why I love to mix and match different element and details together, because it's a source of inspiration.

So for this outfit, I wanted to mix simple with something more edgy and attractive. This is why I matched the top with a basic black t-shirt with the more exotic prints pants. The colour flow compliment each other with both black top and bottoms, but to spice it up, the spikes on the pants and the white shoe create a great contrast.
